The X-Tronic PX-70 is a Linear Variable Bench Power Supply with a Pure Copper Transformer. The most common Complaint of a Linear Power Supply is the Hefty Size of the Unit, which is why the PX-70 was Designed with a Small Footprint in Mind. We also Felt that Many Power Supplies were too Imprecise. To Fix this we Installed Rotary Encoder Detents. With Detents you will feel the knob "Click" into place every time you adjust the Voltage or Current, with each "Click" signifying the number going Up or Down by one Digit. We also made it Incredibly Easy to Adjust the Lowest Values (Amps are Adjustable to the Thousandths and Volts to the Hundredths). Simply Press the Voltage or Current Knobs to Cycle Through each Digit. This, in combination with the Rotary Encoder Detents, makes for Precise and Quick Adjustments to the Output of the Power Supply. For Convenience, we also added 4 Programmable Memory Buttons so you can switch between your Most Common settings in a Flash.

Included with the PX-70 are the Power Supply Unit, 3 Different Sets of Leads, and a Magnetic Project Mat that Has Simple Instructions Printed on the back. Inside the Main Unit is an Intelligent Fan with Excellent Heat Dissipation, on the Front of the Unit is a USB Port that Adjusts to the set Voltage and Amperage, and on the Back of the Unit is a 5 Volt Limit Switch to Help Prevent Errors when working with Sensitive Equipment. The PX-70 Features a Voltage/Amperage Lock which will Prevent any Accidental Adjustments to Keep Projects Safe, and also Features Togglable One-Time & Continuous Overcurrent Protection which will help to Prevent Overloading the Circuit.

On the Front of the PX-70 (shown in the 1st picture) you will see the Bright White LED Display, the 4 Programmable Memory Presets, the One-Time/Continuous Overcurrent Protection Toggles, the Voltage/Current Adjustment Knobs, the On/Off Button, USB Output, and the Positive, Negative, and Ground Power Output Terminals.

In the 2nd and 3rd photos you will see the Magnetic Project Mat. This Mat is Great for holding Small Components and Tools, and even comes with instructions on the back for Enabling all of the Various Functions in case you ever need a Quick Reference Guide.

The First Photo shows Alligator Clip Leads. These are one of the most common type of leads used with Power Supplies and will clip onto anything you're working on. This is handy when you want to Supply Power to a Component while still having Both Hands Free. These Leads are also Stackable, which allows you to plug even more Leads into the Power Supply.

The 2nd Photo shows the Probe Leads that are Included with the PX-70. Many experienced Technicians use these to Inject Electricity into a board to Find Shorts.

The Plunger Leads shown in the 3rd Photo are Similar to the Alligator Clip Leads in the sense that they are used to Continuously Push Electricity into the Device you're working on while Keeping your Hands Free. These Leads, similar to the Alligator Clip Leads, are also Stackable.
