• HOT AIR POWERED BY A BRUSHLESS DC VORTEX BLOWER: The 4020-PRO-X has a Hot Air Delivery System Powered by a Brushless DC Vortex Blower. This New Hot Air System has a Maximum Air Flow Volume of 55L/Min (Liters per Minute), a Maximum Air Flow Speed/Velocity of 3.4 M/S (340 cm/s) and and Air Flow/Volume Set Speed of 1-120 (Programmable).
• PATENTED "QUICK CHANGE" NOZZLE RACK: With this Patented Nozzle Rack you can easily change the Nozzles on your Hot Air Gun without waiting for them to Cool Down and you also don't even have to touch them. • MAGNETIC INDUCTION HOT AIR AUTO COOL DOWN/STANDBY FEATURE: The Auto Cool Down/Standby Feature will Start when you place the Hot Air Gun into the Top of the Tower Holder while it is running, which is a Great Safety Feature. The Auto Cool Down will Initiate and the Hot Air Gun will go into the "Stand By" Mode. When the hot air gun is not in use always place it back in this holder. The hot air gun will continue blowing air until the temperature ramps down to 100°C (Auto Cool Down) and then the airflow will stop and the Hot Air Gun will then be in the "Stand By" Mode. When the hot air gun is removed again from the holder it will start blowing air and ramp back up to the programmed temperature again in Less than 4 Seconds and you can continue your work.
• "BRIGHT WHITE" LED TEMPERATURE AND AIR FLOW DISPLAY: The Model 4020-PRO-X Display Screen shows the Set Temperature, the Actual Temperature and the the Air Speed of the Hot Air Gun on the LED Display. It also shows any changes made to the Programming of the Unit while you are making them.
• TEMPERATURE CALIBRATION FEATURE: This product comes from the factory Totally Calibrated to within ±1.8°F/1.0°C of the temperature shown on the Display Screen. There is a Temperature Calibration Function (± 99°C) to calibrate the Hot Air Gun programmed into this product, but you should never have to use this function unless the heating element fractures or burns out and you have to replace it, which does not happen very often. If you every have to replace the heating element in the hot air gun, you will want to use an Infrared Temperature Thermometer Gun (Held 6 Inches Away) and aim it at a point that is 3 Inches away from the tip of the gun "without" a nozzle attached to it to calibrate the temperature. This is how it was Calibrated at our Factory.
• 4 MEMORY SET BUTTONS FEATURE: There are 4 Memory Set Function Buttons (CH1, CH2, CH3 & CH4) just below the LED Display Screen on the 4020-PRO-X. You use these when you set the Temperature and Air Speed and wish to "Mark" those exact readings and, of course, you can "Mark" 4 different temperature/air speed settings with these 4 Memory Set Buttons.

Below are Photos, Explanations and Specifications of all of the Features and Parts of the X-Tronic 4020-PRO-X.

Included with the X-Tronic 4020-PRO-X Complete Kit is the 1000 Watt Main Power Unit and a 1000 Watt Hot Air Gun powered by a Brushless DC Vortex Blower with a Magnetically Induced Auto Cool Down/Standby Feature (for Safety). The Auto Cool Down/Standby Feature Starts Automatically when placed in the Top of the Tower Holder. There is also a Patented Hot Air Nozzle Holder Attached to the Side of the Unit that holds the 5 Sizes of Hot Air Nozzles (3 Straight & 2 Spiral/Cyclone). An Alligator Anti-Static Grounding Clip, a Solder Sucker Pen, a Stainless Steel Pinpoint Tweezers and a Roll of X-Tronic Wick are also Included (all shown in the 1st photo above).

We used Highly Visible White LED's for the Display Screen on our 6020-PRO-X (shown in the 2nd photo above) and you will be Pleasantly Surprised on how Easy it is to read the Numbers and Symbols on the Display. The 3 Numbers on the LED Screen Show (from left to right) the Setting Temperature of the Hot Air, the Actual Temperature of the Hot Air and the Air Velocity/Speed that you set for the Hot Air Gun. The 2 Up/Down Buttons below the Display Screen on the Left Control the Temperature of the Hot Air Gun and the Up/Down Buttons below the Display Screen on the Right Control the Air Velocity/Speed of the Hot Air Gun. Located on the bottom/middle of the unit is a Button that is used to Program the C/F Conversion, the Calibration & the Mute/Unmute Sound Features. The ON/OFF Switch is located on the Bottom Left of the Power Unit and there is a Replaceable 20 Amp Fuse Receptacle located on the Back of the Unit.

The Hot Air Gun (shown in the 1st photo above) that comes with this unit has a Hot Air Delivery System Powered by a Brushless DC Vortex Blower inside the Main Power Unit. It has a Heavy Duty Heating Element in it with a Temperature Range of 100°C - 500°C/212°F - 932°F, a Temperature Stability of ±1.8°F/1.0°C and a Maximum Air Flow Volume of 55L/M. The Maximum Air Flow Speed/Velocity is 3.4 M/S (340 cm/s) and the Sound Intensity is ≤70 dB. The Air Flow/Volume Set Speed is 1-120 (Programmable) and the Temperature is Controlled by a Sensor Closed Loop, Microcomputer Zero Crossing Trigger

5 Different Sizes/Styles of Patented Hot Air (Snap Fit) Nozzles come with this unit (shown in the 2nd photo above). The 3 Straight Nozzles are 5 mm, 7 mm & 10 mm (13/64", 9/32" & 25/64") & and the 2 Spiral/Cyclone Nozzles are 8 mm & 10 mm (5/16" & 25/64). The Straight Nozzles are normally used for components that needs to be quickly disassembled and the Spiral/Cyclone Nozzles are normally used to "Feather" a component when you are disassembling fragile equipment. These Hot Air Nozzles can be "Stored" very nicely in the Patented "Quick Change" Nozzle Rack located on the Left Side of the Unit. You will read more about this Nozzle Rack below, but note that you do not even have to touch the Hot Air Gun when you change from one nozzle to another so you don't have to let them cool down before you change them.

The Hot Air Gun Tower Holder is shown in the 1st photo above. When you are using the Hot Air Gun (at any temperature) and place it in this holder, it will start the Auto Cool Down/Standby Feature. The temperature will automatically ramp down to 100°C (Auto Cool Down), the Air will stop blowing and it will then be in the "Stand By" Mode. When you take the Hot Air Gun out of this holder, it will ramp back up to the temperature and air speed/velocity that you were previously using in less than 4 seconds. This is a built in Safety Feature and will also extend the life of the blower motor and the heating element in the Hot Air Gun.

Our Patented "Quick Change" Nozzle Rack (shown in the second photo above) is made so you can easily change Nozzles on your Hot Air Gun without waiting for them to Cool Down and you also don't even have to touch them. Although the X-Tronic 4020-PRO-X is ESD Safe and Anti-Static Designed, for further protection of the PCB you might be working on we have included an Anti-Static Grounding Alligator Clip Wire (shown in the 1st photo above). An Anti-Static Grounding Wire is a Safety Device used to channel Static Electricity to a Proper Ground while working on sensitive computer boards, mobile phone boards, etc. or any PCB. Just plug it into the back of the soldering station and Clip it to the PCB you are working on.

For your Convenience we have added a Soldering Sucker De-soldering Pump included with this Complete Package (shown in the 2nd photo above). This Tool has a Good Bit of Suction and its Simple Design allows Easy One Handed Use with its Compact and Light Weight Design.

The 3rd photo above shows the Precision Tweezers that also comes with this Unit. These Pinpoint Tweezers are made of Stainless Steel that is Anti-Static with a Non-Magnetic Baked on Paint used on the Surface which is Resistant to most Acids and other Corrosive Substances.

We have also included a Roll of X-Tronic Wick for removing molten solder quickly and easily (shown in the 4th photo above). The Width is 2.0mm and the Length is 1.5 meters. As you all know, this will come in Handy on most all of your soldering jobs.
